Of course! Well-behaved dogs are more than welcome at RescueFest as long as they’ll be comfortable in the environment. Please think carefully about bringing extremely nervous or reactive dogs who may prefer to stay home.
We will have many animals in attendance, so all dogs must remain on leads at all times. Anyone found to be not in control of their dog will be asked to leave the event.
As a welfare focussed event, we champion positive training methods. We cannot allow dogs wearing aversive equipment to enter the dog shows. Aversive equipment includes shock collars, prong collars, grot collars, etc.
-
Absolutely, we even have a category in our dog show just for exempt dogs!
As above, please carefully consider whether your dog would enjoy the busy environment of RescueFest. Any exempt dogs must follow the Certificate of Exemption rules.
-
Please visit the Pawsitively Does It stand as they are organising their shows. Classes are £2 each and can be paid in cash only.

Yes, our event is a great way to entertain the kids for free. We have many attractions for children including a funfair and opportunities to meet and learn about animals.
-
RescueFest is not strictly vegan and caters to all dietary requirements. While we have many ethical and vegan stalls, we’ve made a decision to ensure the event is inclusive for everyone to help our animal charities raise as much awareness and funding possible.

The entrance to the park is wheelchair accessible. Measures have been taken to plan the layout in a way that is accessible for all. The event is on grass with level terrain, however wet weather may make it difficult for wheelchair users. Accessible toilets will be provided.
